Get into Small Boats 1 Sailing Course

GISB Pacers Get into Small Boats 1 sailing course is the first of 2 learn to sail courses. This course is designed so anyone can learn to sail. A Yachting Australia registered Instructor and assistant coaches will be there every step of the way to help you become a sailor and live the dream.

The next course will be held on the weekend of the 18 & 19 of September.

 

Sign on - Saturday - 8:30am

Saturday - 9am-12pm & 1pm-4pm

Sunday    - 9am-12pm & 1pm-4pm

Course Cost: $250 + Membership (Junior $50 - Adult $150 - Family $190)

Come Sailing every Wednesday
WAGS SailingJoin local yachtsmen and women who volunteer their yachts and time to take all-comers for a social race on picturesque Trinity Inlet. This is referred to as WAGS or lately as WAG(AL)S - Wednesday Afternoon Gentlemen and Ladies Sailing. Sign on in the Boatshed after 12 noon and return for drinks and a bar-b-q around 1630 hrs. All welcome.  Please note spaces are limited; to be certain of a place on board one of our yachts it is recommended to ring the club before 11:00 hrs.
 
Saturday Afternoon Group Sailing

S.A.G.S. is back on. It is part of the racing calendar, thus making it easier to plan ahead. 

Its time to bring the social side of our club back together!! Be at the club between 12 - 12:30 for sign up and crew placement. The course will be set on the day and the number of laps will be determined according to winds of the day. Racing starts at 2pm sharp. And the normal current racing handicaps will be used.

 After wards there will be a BBQ and presentation of bottle of Rum to the winner in the boatshed.

 Sponsorship is being sought for a S.A.G.S. series and will be announced when secured.

Also look out for future overnight S.A.G.S. events to destinations.
